If you want to export all the layers so that they can be edited, I would export as a PSD - that way they can access individual layers in photoshop :) if you just want to send to a manufacturer, I export the stickers as a png (so no background) then I export the background separately. Hope that helps!

Oh my goodness it’s so good to hear from another twin mum! Honestly I’m terrified for the toddler stage - my toddler now is harder than my twins so I’m not sure what the future holds but I know with determination I will get back to it, even if it’s slow. Good for you for allowing yourself to take that time, even if it’s been a difficult journey finding your creativity- but it will come back! Honestly I feel like having twins second has made things much easier as I’ve felt way more confident as a mother, so my hats off to you big time xx

Thank you for sharing how you feel ❤️ it’s really not easy and I also wish I’d had access to digital art from a younger age. When I was in school I was told I shouldn’t do animation because I needed to be good with computers, so I went down a different path. I think if the technology had been more available, I’d have realised that I actually could have gone down the art route! I only started taking art seriously when I gained access to an iPad which is mad. Having a full time job and trying to run a business is really hard (much like me juggling children!), but if you have the drive and conviction then I know you can make it happen! The fact that you don’t enjoy your job - use that as your motivation to build up an additional income. You never know, one day you could leave it and run a creative business full time if that’s your goal! 💪💪💪

Hey! In what way? Because I use a sewing machine? I’m still hand making the item, just using a sewing machine 😊 if I was to hand make clothing I think using a sewing machine would still be classed as handmade - you wouldn’t expect people to hand sew a dress together 😆

Yes when printing it’s usually CMYK - you can’t print in RGB unfortunately. RGB is for monitors and displays so it’s much brighter. When printing, I open my canvas in photoshop in a CMYK canvas, and tweak the colour settings to get them as close to the RGB as possible (usually by increasing the saturation and vibrancy). If you use a manufacturer, they will almost always use CMYK. The colours are definitely duller but tweaking them can help

Because the second manufacturer was cheaper overall. The first one cost $131 for 50 units including shipping, and the second manufacturer costs $97.50 total including shipping :)
